Costas Tsielepis, FCA

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Mr. Tsielepis studied Accounting in London, UK.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in which he was admitted as member in 1968. He is one of the early members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) with a registration number 41.

BACKGROUND

Mr. Tsielepis is a leader in the business consulting, auditing and accounting field in Cyprus. He is a dedicated, practical and highly versed leader and pioneer and is blindly trusted for his knowledge of tax and audit standards, methodologies, laws and regulations.

In the early days of his professional career he had worked for the Inland Revenue Department as an Investigations Officer and then as Financial Director for the biggest and oldest wine and spirits producer on the island.

He later served as Manager for a major international accountancy firm and as a partner and director for a Big Four Auditing firm before deciding to dedicate his time and efforts to his own practice. Mr. Tsielepis also served on the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Cyprus between 1983 and 2003. He also acts as Director for a number of private companies in various sectors.

He assumed the Chairmanship of Chelco Management Services Ltd in 2009.

He is also frequently assigned with negotiating various business transactions on behalf of his clients and third parties.

He constantly shares his vocational experience and valuable knowledge in the field with the management and staff of the company to produce results that are as authoritative as they are practical.

Christina Karagiorgi, MSc, PhD

Managing Director

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Christina holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences from the Ukrainian State University of Physical Education and Sport in Kiev, Ukraine. She also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Education (Hons) from Kiev State Institute of Physical Culture in Ukraine. She is also a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language.

She was awarded numerous certificates and qualifications in physical education and high level training in competitive gymnastics.

BACKGROUND

Christina is a multi-disciplined and multi-talented individual with a diverse vocational background. She started her professional career in Pedagogical Sciences and Physical Education, mostly in the Ukraine. She taught high-level gymnastics and was published extensively on the subject. She was involved in various sport federations and has a long track record of accomplishments and recognitions in the sports field.

Over the last 15 years, Christina focused on accounting, tax, business management, corporate and fiduciary services. She has worked in Eastern Europe and Cyprus in various related roles and has excelled in client management and client relations with a wide range of clients in Europe, Russia and CIS and elsewhere in the world.

Christina offers a broad scope of knowledge, expertise and experience when advising her clients, who range from multi-national corporations to high net worth individuals.

Popi Savva

Director, Assistant to the Chairman

Popi holds an Executive Secretarial Certificate from the Pitman Examination Institute, London and a Higher Stage Certificate in Accounting from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

BACKGROUND

Popi is a knowledgeable, dedicated, highly capable and confident professional with over 30 years of experience in the industry. She started her career alongside Mr. Costas Tsielepis, at Costas Tsielepis & Co, Chartered Accountants, in 1984 as his assistant.

She followed Mr. Tsielepis to Chelco Management Services as his personal assistant and company Director in 2009.

Throughout the years she became highly versed in all administrative matters relating to audit accounting, business and corporate services. Her tried and tested vocational skills, pleasant personality and decades-long familiarity with clients have proved invaluable to the growth and success of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Popi is now responsible for the overall administration of the Chairman’s office as well as commissioning and coordinating work on his behalf. She also frequently handles corporate relations with clients and associates.

Andis Petrou, BA, MSIMC

Director of Communications

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Andis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona, USA, and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications (MSIMC) with Honors from Roosevelt University in Chicago, USA.

He was a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and is currently a member of the Cyprus Institute of Marketing (MCIM).

BACKGROUND

Andis is a seasoned business communications professional with over 20 years of experience in written, verbal and electronic communications in Cyprus and the United States.

He has over a decade of local and international experience in the tax, trust and corporate services industry and has worked for leading fiduciary services providers in senior management positions.

He also has more than a decade of experience as a news/financial reporter and feature writer in various newspapers in Cyprus and the United States.

Andis is well versed in the formulation, management and coordination of business, corporate and marketing communications efforts in Cyprus and four continents around the globe. He has successfully executed business and marketing communications strategies for local and international companies from the financial, investment, high technology, retail and insurance sectors. He has attended and/or coordinated numerous trade shows, conferences, seminars and other industry events in Cyprus and around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Andis is currently responsible for the formulation, management and coordination of the company’s corporate, marketing and business development communications efforts in Cyprus and abroad, with heavy emphasis on the utilization of the marketing mix and specifically advertising, public relations, seminars, trade shows & events, on-line & electronic marketing, social marketing and client relationship marketing.

He is responsible for recommending and spearheading marketing policies and strategic communications plans and for developing, implementing and overseeing employee communication activities. He also serves as the company’s Complaint/Crisis Management Officer.

Andis is a Corporate ID watchdog, a brand strategist and a cultural marketing expert.

Rodia Constantinou, BSc, ACA

Head of Accounting

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Rodia has graduated from the University of Lancaster, UK where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) with Upper Second-Class, Honours in Management Science. She subsequently trained as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Cyprus, where she worked for a period of 8 years.

She is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

BACKGROUND

Rodia has served as an Audit Manager with PwC Cyprus before joining Chelco Management Services Ltd as Head of Accounting.

She is a dedicated, accomplished and well-rounded professional with solid experience in the auditing, accounting, compliance and regulatory fields in Cyprus. Over the years, Rodia has gained considerable technical knowledge and experience, through dealing with multinational groups of companies involved in different fields and competencies, such as trading in shares, investments, asset holding, aviation, shipping and more.

She is a successful leader and manager with a track record of producing and reviewing audit reports, management accounts, financial due diligence and business plans.

SKILLS

Over the years, Rodia has acquired invaluable exposure in the auditing and accounting profession as well as in depth technical knowledge, which she systematically and methodically applies to her work.

She is well-versed in the preparation of accounts, business plans and due diligence reports and has been involved in the technical aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, assessment of accounts and internal controls.

Rodia is responsible for supervising the operations of the Accounting Department, managing accounting staff and for handling high level client communication.

Olga is a graduate of Tartu University, Estonia with a degree in Estonian and English languages.

She has also attended various training seminars and workshops including an International Teachers’ Seminar in Finland.

BACKGROUND

Olga is a highly knowledgeable, diligent and trusted professional with over 10 years of experience in the corporate services industry. She started her career as a Notary Deputy before moving on to Chelco Management Services Ltd, first as a Corporate Administrator and later as Client Manager at the Russian Desk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Olga is now co-responsible for the overall management of the Russian Desk and most importantly for liaising with the company’s Russian and CIS clients and handling their corporate and business administration affairs.

Oksana Kattou

Client Manager, Russian Desk

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Oksana is a graduate of The State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in the former USSR with a degree in Linguistics. She went on to study Accounting at Carshalton College in Surrey, UK.

BACKGROUND

Oksana is a highly experienced, multi-disciplined and multi-talented professional with 20 years of experience in corporate and business services. She started her career as an interpreter and translator, then as an accountant and later as a corporate administrator for Russian and international companies and organisations, including Unisef and the UN. She then worked as an Office Manager and Director for an international oil and gas trading company before moving on to Chelco Management Services Ltd, first as a Corporate Administrator and later as Client Manager at the Russian Desk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oksana is now co-responsible for the overall management of the Russian Desk and most importantly for liaising with the company’s Russian and CIS clients and handling their corporate and business administration affairs.
