Academic & Professional Qualifications

Mr. Tsielepis studied Accounting in London, UK.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in which he was admitted as member in 1968. He is one of the early members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) with a registration number 41.

Background

Mr. Tsielepis is a leader in the business consulting, auditing and accounting field in Cyprus. He is a dedicated, practical and highly versed leader and pioneer and is blindly trusted for his knowledge of tax and audit standards, methodologies, laws and regulations.

In the early days of his professional career he had worked for the Inland Revenue Department as an Investigations Officer and then as Financial Director for the biggest and oldest wine and spirits  producer on the island.

He later served as Manager for a major international accountancy firm and as a partner and director for a Big Four Auditing firm before deciding to dedicate his time and efforts to his own practice. Mr. Tsielepis also served on the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Cyprus between 1983 and 2003. He also acts as Director for a number of private companies in various sectors.

He assumed the Chairmanship of Chelco Management Services Ltd in 2009.

Mr. Tsielepis is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of Chelco Management Services Ltd.

He handles high profile clients and advises them on high level issues and decisions that affect their businesses. He safeguards their business interests and frequently engages in strategic advisory and corporate business development. He is also frequently assigned with negotiating various business transactions on behalf of his clients and third parties.

He constantly shares his vocational experience and valuable knowledge in the field with the management and staff of the company to produce results that are as authoritative as they are practical.
